Ayurvedic Odessey (Spring 2009) (Fall 2009) Breathe. Relax. Release. Renew/Rejuvenate Join Bhavana & Bhaskar for two weeks of deep relaxation and Ayurvedic healing to detoxify and rejuvenate you mind, body and spirit. Combined with yoga and meditation at top notch seaside Ayurvedic retreat center and several Indian cultural experiences such as temple visits, festivals, authentic Kerala cuisine, trip down the famous Kerala backwaters – ‘the Venice of the East’, wildlife, paddy fields, join us for a healing Odyssey in Kerala. Ancient Greece was famous for its dream healing temples where pilgrims journeyed from far distances to seek healing dreams from the God of Healing, Aesclepius. Bhaskar will lead a two week nomadic pilgrimage to these ancient sites of worship and ritual. We will journey to three important remaining sites (2 in Greece & 1 in Turkey ) that still resonate with the healing energy of ancient times. At each location we will host dream groups, go on shamanic dream journeys, experiment with dream incubation techniques, reinvent ancient Aesclepian rituals, and provide healing bodywork. Join us on this exciting and inspiring exploration of the ancient mystic healing arts.
